As some of you may be aware we have been growing Iris for French company Cayeux for Chelsea Flower Show

After nine months of growing including close monitoring and moving of plants into shade and under cover we delivered over 250 plants in flower to Chelsea

On the Saturday before the Show opened we went up to Chelsea to help erect the display

What a wonderful experience We saw all the Show gardens and floral displays being built and everyone is so friendly and helpful

On Tuesday Medals Day I went up to see results A Silver Gilt Medal We were all very pleased as you can tell by photograph

Perhaps highlight of the Show for me was being interviewed by Joe Swift for BBC Gardeners World

Garden Mueum in Lambeth Spring Plants and Gardens Fair

This was a very sucessful Show and we had sold out of Iris by early afternoon

The star of our display was an early flowering tall bearded Iris Art Deco Sold out after first 30 minutes!

We were given a special award at the Show for our display of a single species

At long last the cold wintry weather seems to be disappearing and the days are longer and warmer

The Iris are responding and are showing growth.

The short bearded Iris are showing buds and hopefully we will be seeing flowers soon

We have several new short bearded Iris this year and I can't wait to see new flowers

I'm also trialing  some new varieties for future years and am very excited

Iris lazica and unguicularis are still  flowering in my garden and Iris bucharica has emerged this week
